An individual adjustment is made possible by the adjustable, particularly wide headband. The large surface area of the mask body guarantees maximum filter performance while minimizing heat buildup inside the mask. In particular, the 3M Cool Flow exhalation valve prevents heat accumulation in the mask and facilitates breathing. The 3M Advanced Electret filter medium provides more protection and low breathing resistance, meeting the requirements of the Dolomite dust test (D). The color-coded valve labeling is particularly practical, simplifying the identification of the protection level. The 8825 respirator mask has a protection level of FFP2 R D. The usage limit is ten times the threshold value for particles. Like all particle masks from the 3M premium program, the 3M 8825 respirator mask offers the highest safety and meets the special requirements (R D) for masks that can be used for more than one layer. It is compatible with 3M safety glasses. Its areas of application include construction, shipbuilding and repair, pharmaceutical manufacturing, welding and soldering, chemical processing, iron and steel foundry, and battery manufacturing.
