The 3M heat-shrink telecommunications connection and branching kit FVAM is suitable for all filled and unfilled telecommunications and signal cables without pressure monitoring. The kit complies with the technical delivery conditions of Deutsche Telekom AG. The included protective insert serves as a vapor barrier as well as to protect the cable splice from excessive heat exposure and for mechanical protection. An outer coating on the sleeve with temperature indicator color indicates the completion of the shrinking process through a color change. A stainless steel closure strip prevents the sleeve from opening or distorting during shrinking. The delivery scope of the connection and branching kit includes a heat-shrinkable sleeve with temperature indicator color, closure strip, protective insert, shield connector and connection wire, cable cleaning cloth, sandpaper, and assembly instructions. A branching system is not included in the delivery.
