Combined surge protection device SPD Type 1+2, designed to protect low-voltage consumer installations from lightning currents and surges. Tested SPD Type 1 and Type 2 according to DIN EN 61643-11. The devices can be used as surge protection devices in accordance with VDE 0100 Part 443 and Part 534, as well as within the framework of the lightning protection zone concept. The devices are compatible with the System pro M compact series. Optionally, the SPDs with "TS" are equipped with a potential-free changeover contact. The variants with "Reserve Varistor" provide additional protection for the installation, as at the end of the surge protector's lifespan, it is not completely disconnected from the network, but instead, a smaller additional varistor ensures basic protection, thus keeping the installation protected until the surge protector is replaced.
