The filament is designed for original xenon headlights that require D2S bulbs (xenon headlights with a lens). No installation modifications are necessary. It has a perfectly adjusted focal length and a voltage connector typical for a D2S bulb. It can only be used with a D2S xenon converter or another with a D2 adapter.
