The compact Argo Guppy mosquito trap features an internal light that emits UV radiation (CCFL UV-A lamp with a wavelength of 365 nm) to attract light-sensitive flying insects such as mosquitoes and small flies. The mosquito catcher is also equipped with a powerful DC fan that sucks in the insects and pulls them into the trapping device, where they subsequently fall into a collection container. There is no escape after capture. In the practical drawer, the insects quickly die from dehydration and can be removed from there. The Argo Guppy mosquito lamp is not only an attractive lamp for catching mosquitoes but can also be used as a night light. The Argo Guppy consumes only 5 W. This mosquito trap is environmentally friendly, as it uses only small LED lights that are safe for humans and pets. No chemicals, perfumes, sprays, powders, or vapors are used. Mosquito traps with CCFL lamps have a longer lifespan and are less fragile compared to traditional UV-A lamps.
