The C.A 6460 and C.A 6462 are field ohmmeters with a digital display for measuring grounding and soil resistance. They are particularly suitable for use under challenging conditions, in the presence of interference voltages, high earth currents, and high-resistance auxiliary grounds.

To simplify operation, the device features:
a measurement trigger via a single button,
an automatic range switching system,
a large backlit LCD display,
three indicator lights to show errors that could distort the measurement results,
four colored screw terminals for easy connection of the leads,
a non-removable short-circuit bridge.
