The Click n Crimp crimping tool is equipped with interchangeable crimp profile inserts that are secured in the tool body by a locking mechanism. Two additional crimp profiles are stored in the tool arms. The tool body is made of strong, specially tempered, hardened steel sheet. The adjustable ratchet mechanism with forced release ensures compliance with standard crimping pressure. Ergonomic 2-component grip covers provide additional comfort. The weight, including 3 crimp profile inserts, is only 690 g.

The Click n Crimp sets consist of a crimping tool body and three of the most common profile inserts for each application area. The Click n Crimp electrical engineering profile inserts are available as follows:

• Article number 10 6010 (for insulated cable connectors from 0.5 mm² to 6 mm²)
• Article number 10 611 (for non-insulated cable lugs from 0.5 mm² to 10 mm²)
