The DeWalt DCG 405 is an 18-volt cordless angle grinder with a 125 mm diameter and a brushless motor. Thanks to the innovative brushless motor, it offers higher performance with longer runtime per battery charge, more compact dimensions, weight savings, and an overall longer lifespan of the machine. The windings, reinforced with epoxy resin, provide additional protection for the motor against abrasive dust particles. The optimized ventilation system inside the grinder ensures perfectly adjusted cooling for the machine and electronics, contributing to a longer lifespan. DeWalt's own Perform & Protect system reliably stops the disc in seconds (under 2 seconds) with the electronic brake, enhancing user safety. The electronic clutch automatically shuts off the device in case of blockage, further protecting both the user and the machine. Both safety systems effectively minimize the risks associated with kickbacks. The included guard can be adjusted tool-free with one hand, and together with the also included side handle, it allows for flexible and application-appropriate use of the machine.
