They are manufactured from high-quality cobalt alloy high-speed steel (HSS-E-PM) for increased hardness and improved edge retention. The taps feature a bright, attractive finish with a treated edge for excellent performance in a variety of non-ferrous metals. They provide excellent performance in brass and copper, high wear resistance, and low material adhesion for reduced chip build-up and increased productivity. The taps are tapered for faster and easier chip removal.
