According to DIN 6458, this is chrome-molybdenum-vanadium air hardening steel 45CrMoV7. It is carefully hardened and tempered along the full length, with striking heads inductively tempered. The working edge is polished and clear varnished. Special types or sizes are available upon request. Note: not standardized.
