WIC Snap-On Cable Markers. WIC markers are easily attached to the wire using the WIC tool. If no tool is available, they can be easily applied by hand. Simply insert the marking strip into the back of the tool and slide it down to the end, then press the marking down over the wire. Remove the marking and apply the next one. Once all markings are in place, push them together until the locking mechanism clicks into place. The markers are on a dispenser that is color-coded for the different marking sizes (red, blue, or yellow). The applicator tool, which can be used with all three sizes of markers, is easy to use and designed for tight spaces.
