Sulfate form on the plates of lead batteries, especially in batteries that are rarely used or only operated seasonally, such as motorcycles during the winter break. During self-discharge while at rest, crystalline sulfates slowly cover the lead plates, leading to a reduction in the capacity of the lead battery. The lead battery activator is simply connected in parallel to the battery and ensures, through very short and intense current pulses, that sulfate deposits decrease and existing sulfate deposits can slowly break down. It does not matter whether the battery is currently being charged or not. Therefore, a maintenance charger can be connected simultaneously. The lead battery activator also extends the lifespan of car batteries that are in daily active use.
