Kerbl Frost Protection Heating Cable

The plug-ready heating cable meets the requirements of strength class M2 according to IEC60800:2009, ensuring that gutters, pipes, and even plants remain frost-free. With a high heating output of 20 watts per meter, the heating cable prevents frost even at very low temperatures. The integrated temperature switch reliably turns the heating cable on at +3 °C and off at +12 °C.

Notes

• Please note that each heating cable connection must be protected by a separate residual current device (RCD).
• The heating cable must be protected from sharp edges, e.g., at the transition from the gutter to the downpipe, by using edge protection.
• The heating cable must not touch, overlap, or cross itself or another heating cable at any point. To permanently prevent contact, the use of suitable spacers is recommended if necessary.
• For safety reasons, pipes, metal gutters, protective pipes, and metal casings must be grounded before installation.
