The 78 71 125 Electronic Super Knips are precision pliers designed for ultra-fine cutting tasks, making them ideal for electronics and precision mechanics. They feature ground, very sharp cutting edges without bevels. The precisely shaped tips allow for cutting wires up to a diameter of 0.2 mm in direct contact with a surface. The shear cut is designed with a controlled micro-cutting edge misalignment to ensure the most precise cutting of even the thinnest wires and to secure a long lifespan. The joint is secured with a stainless steel rivet, allowing for extremely smooth movement to minimize operator fatigue. These pliers are equipped with an opening spring and an opening limiter, as well as a wire catcher to prevent uncontrolled loss of cut wire ends. The cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened, with a cutting edge hardness of approximately 64 HRC. Made from special tool steel and ground, the specifications include:
