LAPP Helix charging cable Type 2 connects the electric vehicle to the charging station, charging column, or wallbox – for hassle-free charging at home or on the go. The coupling of the cable is simply connected to the car, and the plug is connected to the power source. The charging process starts and ends automatically through the onboard electronics. The patented self-retracting double helix cable coils itself into two spirals after use – for quick storage without tangling. The two helix spirals of the cable can be stacked on top of each other to save space and are easy to handle due to their lightweight.

The Type 2 charging cable from LAPP allows for easy and fast charging of up to 22 kW at a public or private charging station or wallbox. High compatibility: In addition to 3-phase charging at 11 kW, the cable also supports 1-phase charging at 7.4 kW and 3.7 kW.

The oil-resistant and longitudinally waterproof EV charging cable offers high moisture protection according to protection class IP55. The operating temperature ranges from -40 °C to 50 °C. The Mode 3 charging cable is manufactured according to valid IEC and EN standards and is compatible with European vehicles and charging stations as well as with CCS Combo 2 connections.
