Mersen protistor fuse links 690/700V for semiconductor protection offer a wide degree of flexibility in application for the protection of modern converter devices. This superfast series is capable of protecting power semiconductors such as diodes, thyristors, and IGBT devices. Protistor fuse links come in various sizes and numerous rated currents, enabling the widest possible device adaptation. The fuses contain fusible conductors firmly embedded in sand to ensure excellent overall breaking integrals (I2t) and high breaking capacities. The contact surfaces are silver-plated, and all components are non-magnetic. All fuses in this range have a function indicator which, in addition to its visual indication function, can also be used to remotely signal the fuse function by means of an additional microswitch.
