The SunSaver MPPT solar controller from Morningstar with TrakStar Technology is an advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) battery charger for off-grid photovoltaic systems. The controller features an intelligent tracking algorithm that maximizes energy harvesting from PV systems and prevents excessive battery discharge with load regulation. The SunSaver MPPT is well adapted for both professional and consumer PV applications, including automatic lighting control. The product is environmentally protected with an epoxy encapsulation, adjustable via four switches, and can be connected to a PC. It is equipped with an optional remote measuring instrument and a battery temperature sensor.
