With the installation of the Energy Recovery System (ERS), the generated energy from your servo or standard drive is no longer wasted. The ERS serves as a central or decentralized input and feedback of energy through the connected frequency converters into the system network. The ERS is suitable for both new installations and retrofitting existing systems and is connected to all frequency converters with an external DC link.

Functions: The ERS is directly connected to the DC link of the frequency converter or servo controller. The voltage is monitored, and when the corresponding threshold is reached, the feedback operation is automatically activated. The response thresholds can be adjusted via a selector switch inside the device. The ERS operates on a 3-phase AC power supply and automatically synchronizes upon connection. No parameterization is necessary. The device is ready for operation immediately after switching on the frequency converter or servo controller and after synchronization with the power supply network.
