The ultrasonic flow meter has a measurement range of ±32 m/s. With an accuracy of ±1.5% of the measured value for a pipe diameter of DN ≥50 and ±3.5% of the measured value for a pipe diameter of DN. During a measurement, it is possible to record the values via the data logger function. Start and stop conditions as well as the storage interval can be set from 1 second to 12 hours. A storage point contains all measured values at once. The measurement values are stored on the built-in 32 GB memory, allowing for the storage of 10 million measurement points. With the optional software, the recorded measurement values can be read out. For analysis, the measurement values can be displayed in both tabular and graphical formats. For further processing, these can be exported in .csv file format. Alternatively, a PDF report can be generated through the software. For simplified operation, the device can be configured via the software. A live view of the measurement values is also possible. To determine the thermal energy, two thermocouples are additionally required, which are available with the PCE-TDS 200+. These are connected to the supply and return lines of a piping system. Based on the temperature difference and the measured flow rate, the device can determine the thermal energy.
