The air quality monitor allows for the measurement of fine dust, temperature, and relative humidity. The bright display alternately provides information about the aforementioned parameters. Monitoring the environment can be done continuously with the air quality monitor for up to five hours without the device being connected to a power source. For continuous measurement, the air quality monitor can be connected to mains power via a USB interface. The battery can be fully recharged within two hours if the air quality monitor is turned off. The display of concentration levels is further simplified by using a color rating scale, as this directly conveys information about air quality to the user. In addition to providing an indicative measurement of formaldehyde, which can be harmful to health, there is also an indicative measurement of fine dust pollution. This distinguishes between particles with a maximum diameter of up to 10 µm (PM10) and particles with a diameter of up to 2.5 µm (PM2.5).
