By switching the measuring range, it is possible to detect even low voltages down to a minimum of 12V AC. When the device is switched on, the tip lights up green if no voltage is present. If AC voltage is present at the measuring point, this is visually indicated by a red flashing LED and the integrated buzzer sounds. In addition, a vibration motor ensures that detected voltages are perceived even in noisy and cluttered work environments. If the user holds down the 12V toggle button, the test probe glows yellow.
