Roller Shutter Control

With the Philio Roller Shutter Controller, roller shutters, awnings, electric blinds, and garage doors can be integrated into a Z-Wave network. Thanks to the roller shutter controller, any device powered by an AC electric motor can be remotely controlled. The roller shutter control module allows for precise positioning of motors with mechanical and electrical limit switches. Additionally, the device enables power monitoring.

The compact radio module is placed in a wall box directly behind the standard switch. The switch is no longer directly connected to the load but serves as an input device for the Philio insert, which controls the load. The switch only sends control signals to the insert, which then controls the load. The solution works with all types of switches. You can use a push button or a toggle switch. It is recommended to use wall boxes with a depth of 65 mm. However, smaller boxes with only 45 mm depth can also be used if there is enough space behind the switch. The available space depends on the size of the conventional switch, the dimensions of the wall box, and the amount of additional wiring in that box.
