The UF40 buffer module is an auxiliary device for regulated DC-24V power supplies that can be used for various purposes: – Providing direct current to bridge outages in the DC power supply system. – Extending the power outage bridging time after a loss of mains voltage. – Temporarily supplying an additional peak current that exceeds the rated current of the power supply. It utilizes maintenance-free electrolytic capacitors for energy storage, which can be used even at ambient temperatures of up to +70°C. No control wiring is required for the buffer module. It can be added in parallel to the load circuit at any point. Buffer modules can be connected in parallel to provide additional current or to increase the power outage bridging time.
