The Wiser Smart Smoke Detector brings intelligent safety to your home. It detects smoke as well as sudden increases in temperature and alerts you with a loud alarm sound. When connected to the Wiser system, it sends notifications through the Wiser app directly to your phone. The app allows for integration into smart home automation, enabling actions such as automatically shutting off power outlets during a fire, turning on lights, or setting all home cameras to record events onto a memory card.

The Wiser app also reminds you to test the smoke detector's functionality at regular intervals. You can check the device's status via a clear LED light, and if you want to temporarily silence the device for 10 minutes, you can easily do so by briefly pressing the front of the device. The smoke detector can also function as a traditional smoke detector without the Wiser app. It can be interconnected with other Wiser smoke detectors to ensure alarm notifications throughout the home if smoke or a sudden temperature rise is detected in any room.

Included are a ceiling mounting plate, screws, and a user manual. The device can be installed on flat or sloped ceilings. It has a built-in battery for safety verification, lasting approximately 10 years (non-replaceable).

If the smoke detector is to be used in a Wiser system, a Wiser smart home central unit must be in use. The central unit also supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant virtual assistants.
