SIRIUS Soft Starter S0 25 A, 11 kW/400 V, 40 °C AC 200-480 V, AC/DC 110-230 V screw terminals. The SIRIUS 3RW30 soft starter is designed for standard applications to provide a smooth start for three-phase asynchronous motors. It allows for stepless starting, reduces current peaks, avoids voltage fluctuations during startup, relieves the power supply network, and decreases mechanical stress on the drive. It offers significant space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, is maintenance-free, and is very easy to handle. The integrated bypass enables a very compact design and ensures lower heating in the control cabinet. It has worldwide approvals (e.g., IEC and UL/CSA). The 3RW soft starters are available for networks up to 690 V in a wide power range with different control supply voltages, consistently featuring screw and spring terminals. The 3RW30/40 also has additional variants with a 24 V control supply voltage. Some of the 3RW40 up to size S3, as well as all 3RW44, also offer thermistor motor protection. With the optional connection module, the soft starters can be mounted on circuit breakers, even for the variants with spring terminals.
