It can be used as a standalone product or in conjunction with other Somfy Protect products. It is not compatible with TaHoma/Connexoon. In the event of smoke detection, you and your relatives or friends will receive an immediate notification on your smartphone, including information about which room the smoke was detected in. The siren of the respective smoke detector will sound immediately. The interconnected smoke detectors will inform each other in case of an alarm, so you will also be alerted in the bedroom if the smoke detector in the basement goes off.

Operation is simple via the Somfy Protect app: a straightforward step-by-step installation through the app on your smartphone. To ensure that your smoke detectors always function properly and your protection is guaranteed, you will be notified by the app when it’s time to perform short functionality tests or change the batteries. The siren can be turned off at any time on the smoke detector itself as well as through the app. This saves time and reduces stress.

Keep an eye on your home: Are you receiving a smoke warning but are currently away? Through the integration with Somfy Protect surveillance cameras (indoor camera, outdoor camera, Somfy One +, and Somfy One), you can immediately check what is happening at home and respond accordingly. Additionally, in connection with a camera, you have the option to record a 30-second video clip and download it from the photo database.
