Our universal screw with a pan head is an example of how screw connections can also look good when needed. The spherical screw head with T-STAR plus or cross-slot Z drive is suitable for the visible attachment of metal fittings to wood, with the underside of the head lying flat against the metal. The more thread turns a screw has, the greater the tensile and compressive forces that can be transferred from the screw to the wood. The abbreviation A2 in our stainless steel screws comes from the alloy of the steel. Screws made of stainless steel A2 offer high protection against corrosion and medium strengths.
