The steel junction box 8118/111-401 is an explosion-proof junction box designed for use in hazardous areas. It meets the requirements of protection categories II 2 G Ex eb IIC T6...T5 Gb for gas explosion protection and II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T80 °C...T95 °C Db for dust explosion protection. With a rated operating voltage of 550 V and a connection cross-section of up to 4 mm², it provides a reliable solution for electrical installations in zones 1, 2, 21, and 22. The housing is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin, which is not only robust but also resistant to various environmental influences. The junction box is suitable for temperatures ranging from -60 °C to +40 °C and offers a high protection rating of IP66, making it ideal for use in demanding environments.
