The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series, classified as S2/S3, is optimized for medium to heavy applications and is aimed at industries such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade. It features an exceptionally lightweight and flexible, 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the latest generation, a compact design, an anatomical shape, good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and non-magnetic properties.

The non-metallic, puncture-resistant insole meets the latest standard requirements without compromising the shoe's flexibility. Made with new last technology for exceptional comfort, it offers optimized wearing comfort thanks to uvex climazone technology. The hydrophobic and breathable upper material is made of particularly soft cowhide leather and ensures optimal ventilation through the Distance Mesh lining material.

The shoes are equipped with individually adjustable elastic laces with a quick-release system, and standard interchangeable laces are also included. The nearly seamless upper construction helps to avoid pressure points. A removable comfort insole is antistatic, features a moisture management system, and provides additional cushioning in the heel and forefoot areas.

The softly padded shaft and padded dust flap enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of an exceptionally lightweight and highly shock-absorbing midsole as well as a very good slip-resistant outsole, free from substances that impair paint wetting, such as silicones and plasticizers. A molded polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather above the toe cap and ensures a significantly longer lifespan. The shoes meet ESD requirements for conductivity.
