The UN marking certifies compliance with the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by road, sea, air and rail. The outside of the canister is powder coated with a special military colour (army green RAL6031) that absorbs infrared light. The canister is made of 0.9 mm hot-dip galvanised aluminium-silicon (AS) coated steel, which provides additional corrosion protection. The inside of the canister is lined with petrol-resistant paint to prevent rusting. The wide opening ensures fast and even pouring (20 litre canister - 25 seconds)
