Cold protection for young trees and shrubs

The natural mat made of strong needle felt (500 g/m²) is an effective frost protection for cold-sensitive plants. The jute mat is placed around the trunk of the plant (tree, shrub, potted plant) so that the soil and roots are covered; the cut-out section makes it easy to attach. The breathable natural material helps the plant retain water while also protecting it from extreme temperatures.

Natural weed control in summer

In the warm season, the jute mat can be laid in the bed instead of or under a classic bark mulch layer, thereby assisting in weed control. It is biodegradable and decomposes naturally after a few years.
