The ultrasonic flow meter has a measurement range of ±32 m/s. It offers an accuracy of ±1.5% of the measured value for pipe diameters of DN ≥50 and ±3.5% for smaller diameters. During a measurement, it is possible to record the values using the data logger function. Start and stop conditions, as well as the storage interval, can be set from 1 second to 12 hours. Each storage point contains all measured values at once. The measurement data is stored in the built-in 32 GB memory, allowing for the recording of up to 10 million measurement points. With the optional software, recorded measurements can be retrieved. For analysis, the data can be displayed in both tabular and graphical formats. The measurement values can be exported in .csv file format for further processing. Alternatively, a PDF report can be generated through the software. For easier operation, the device can be configured via the software. A live view of the measurement values is also possible. To determine the heat quantity, two thermocouples are additionally required, which are available with the PCE-TDS 200+. The two thermocouples are connected to the supply and return lines of a piping system. Based on the temperature difference and the measured flow rate, the device can determine the heat quantity.
