Benning Double pole voltage tester DU
CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V, Handheld multimeter
Benning EV 3-3 is a wallbox tester and measurement adapter that allows for easy and quick functional testing as well as troubleshooting of wallboxes. When used with the installation testing devices BENNING IT 200 or BENNING IT 130, it enables safety and functional testing of AC charging stations (wallboxes) for electric vehicles according to DIN VDE 0100-600 and DIN VDE 0105-100. It is compatible with 1- and 3-phase charging stations (EVSE) of charging mode 3 with Type 2 connectors.
The device facilitates simple functional testing of the wallbox and the connection of the installation device to the charging station. It simulates different current load capacities (codings) of 13 A, 20 A, 32 A, and 62 A for the charging cables. It also simulates various vehicle states: A (not connected), B (connected, not ready), C (charging without ventilation), D (charging with ventilation), and E (error, short circuit between CP-PE / PE disconnected).
Additionally, it analyzes the CP and PP signals (vehicle status, signal voltage, frequency, duty cycle). It measures voltage and phase rotation, with separate phase indicators (L1/L2/L3) indicated by three LEDs as soon as the charging station provides power. The device triggers the 30 mA AC and 6 mA DC residual current device with time measurement. It features a test socket and 4 mm sockets (L1/L2/L3/N/PE) for easy connection to the installation testing device. The EVSE locking system is checked from status B (release of the charging cable is blocked). It has a measurement category of CAT II 300 V and includes a protective case.
Quick and easy testing of protective contact sockets for correct connections. Wiring errors such as missing PE, N, and L conductors, as well as the swapping of L and PE conductors, are clearly indicated by three LEDs. The active PE test with a touch electrode and LCD display warns of the presence of a dangerous touch voltage over 50 V at the protective conductor connection (PE). A test button triggers the 30 mA RCD circuit breaker. Clear indication via LEDs and LCD display. An easy-to-understand status table informs about the correct connection (OK, green) and the type of error present (red) in the protective contact socket. Measurement category CAT III 300 V. Additional technical features: Display: LCD/LEDs.

Benning Hand Multimeter digital MM 6-2
CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V, Handheld multimeter
Innovative digital multimeter series with true RMS measurement method and integrated voltage sensor.
Industrial environments demand true RMS measuring instruments.
Non-linear loads, such as those created by variable speed motor drives, frequency converters, or power supplies for office equipment and LED lights, generate reactive power in the network. This results in multimeters and clamp meters using the average value measurement method (RMS) displaying less accurate readings.
In many cases, especially in industrial environments, the use of modern true RMS measuring instruments is necessary. The true RMS measurement method accurately displays the actual effective value of an alternating current, regardless of whether the waveform of the current is sinusoidal or distorted.
