The Steinel IR presence detector PD IR 4360-8 offers motion detection, presence detection, and light measurement for offices, meeting rooms, passageways, and more. The 360° IR presence detectors comply with sensNORM and are ideal for sensor-based standard requirements in the property sector. It features COM1, KNX, and DALI-2 IPD interfaces, with KNX supporting 2 light outputs including constant light control, logic gate, and other outputs and functions such as day/night switching and sabotage protection.
The range for motion detection is Ø 8 or Ø 24 m, while the presence detector function has a detection range of Ø 6 or Ø 7.5 m. Colour-matching, plug-in cover caps are included. It can be installed flush-mounted, surface-mounted, or on the ceiling. Setting and operation are managed via KNX bus and ETS.
