Explanation of unit designation T, TPro, CE, LT, LM, LMU, LMT, LMT-D, LMT-S and LIVE!

"T" stands for TMC (Traffic Message Channel)

"Tpro" stands for TMCpro (or TMC Premium)

"LT" stands for Lifetime Traffic (lifetime TMCpro or DAB+ with compatible device).

"LMU" stands for Lifetime Map Update (nüMaps Lifetime)

"LMT" stands for Lifetime Map Update (nüMaps Lifetime) + Lifetime Traffic

"LMT-D" stands for Lifetime Map Update (nüMaps Lifetime) + Lifetime Traffic + DAB+.

"LMT-S" stands for Lifetime Map Update (nüMaps Lifetime) + Lifetime Traffic (no traffic receiver cable included - "S" stands for the possibility to receive traffic information via smartphone link)

With LIVE! (formerly "nüLink!") is a device with a subscription option for nüLink! online services.

The S receives additional information only via paired smartphone, i.e. also traffic info. The D has a built-in DAB+ receiver and therefore works with TMC-Pro even without a smartphone. However, a smartphone for weather information can still be optionally connected to a D.
