Not normal. When it's switched on, it goes into demo mode! Then there's a combination of keys to take it out of "demo" mode and switch permanently to normal mode (see the manual). If it stays dead, have you checked the batteries? They're in the long bulge between the two optical barrels. To open it, there's just one screw to loosen...

The VTech Interactive Video Binoculars support microSD cards up to a size of 32 GB. If your Reolink micro SD card is not recognised, check that it is the correct size and that it is inserted correctly. Make sure that the card is not damaged and that it is in the correct format. If the problem persists, you could format the card on a computer and then try using it in the binoculars again.

During the video, keep your fingers pressed on the 3 buttons BBC / Camera / validate for 3 sec. I had the same problem. It's written on the inside of the box

Hello, The binoculars I bought were a Christmas present, and were already packaged .... Out of curiosity, I visited the Vtech website and read the downloadable instructions for the binoculars .... Nowhere does it mention a change of language ... I'm afraid the language is fixed in the toy's firmware ... Santa Claus is likely to be disappointed... :-(
