Philips Lumea Prestige
Can the product also be used on blonde hair?
Hello Sandra,
Unfortunately, IPL does not work at all on white-haired and red-haired people, and only to a limited extent on people with blond hair, depending on how blond they are. Here, the dirtier or darker the blonde, the better. This is because the hair that is flashed by means of "Intensed Pulsed Light" (IPL for short) must have a certain amount of pigmentation, i.e. melanin, in order to be able to guide the flash of light to the hair root. This is the only way to sufficiently damage the flashed hair roots, or as the manufacturers put it: "put them to rest". Which, one way or another, is the whole point.
I don't know why your hairs bother you, but I always imagine that blonde hairs are not visible at all to others.... I wish I had blonde hairs on my body. I am from Turkey and we are hairy. And how! But thanks to Philips Lumea I have peace of mind now, I hardly have to shave. Only I can see a few hairs, for others they are probably not visible at all. It's a great feeling! But it worked so well for me because I have dark hair and not too dark skin. With too dark skin it will also be rather difficult...
Greetings, Dilek
