Duracell's most groundbreaking innovation to date, the new Duracell Optimum alkaline battery (in an 8-pack blister), features a new cathode system that can provide up to 200% additional lifespan in certain devices and extra power in others. The Optimum packaging keeps new batteries in place and allows for the safe storage of used batteries for recycling. It offers additional lifespan for AA batteries compared to the average minimum lifespan in the IEC digital camera test from 2015, or extra performance in a variety of devices compared to the second-best Duracell alkaline AA. Results may vary depending on the device and usage behavior.
