The rotary switches of the Z-DS series are modular in design: the switch itself consists of the latching mechanism and the switching package. The switching cams (hence also called cam switches) are driven by a robust, torsion-resistant aluminium shaft. The switching package consists of one or more switching cells with one or two independent, double-breaking contacts. The connection of adjacent switch terminals, as required for the voltmeter switch Z-DSV, is integrated into the switch housing. This eliminates any obstruction when connecting the terminal leads.

Application: Suitable for practically any desired application. For example, motor switches: garage doors, fans, electrically operated roller shutters, heating controls, lighting fixtures, instrument switches, various control purposes, etc. Design according to IEC 60947-3, IEC 60947-5-1, VDE 0660, EN 60947-3, SEV.
