Product details

We offer a backplane solution not only for large 3.5” hard drives but also for smaller 2.5” hard drives. It can accommodate up to four drives with a maximum height of 15 mm. The backplane requires the space of a 5.25” bay. To prevent the HDDs or SSDs from overheating during operation, the aluminum housing provides stability and good heat dissipation, supported by two 40mm fans. Data transfer is possible as the chipset supports both SAS and SATA III drives, offering correspondingly high transfer rates. Power is supplied via SATA Power. A power switch allows you to control the LED display. This backplane does not provide an acoustic alarm for hard drive overheating and/or failure. For 4x 2.5” SATA/SAS HDD/SSD. Drive height up to 15 mm. Robust industrial design. Full aluminum and metal construction. Supports SATA III 6 Gbit/s. Drive carriers are lockable. Form factor 5.25”. Plug & Play and Hot Swap. Includes IB-2240SSK, 2x keys, 28x screws, and a quick guide.
