This card allows the use of the latest and fastest hard drive controllers with 6Gb/s while providing backward compatibility with older SATA 1.5Gb/s or 3Gb/s drives. It enhances system performance for all types of computer users. Each PCI Express 2.0 lane offers a throughput of up to 500 MB/s.
