Pro-Ject has utilized its technology and experience from the past and aimed to incorporate damping techniques from high-end turntables into the Debut Carbon Evo. With advanced TPE damping and heavy sandwich constructions, they have developed this innovative solution. The Debut Carbon Evo not only looks good but also impresses with its perfect stance. It features three height-adjustable solid metal feet to ensure level positioning on any surface. With three feet, Pro-Ject was able to increase stability on uneven surfaces, as a perfectly level turntable is essential for true high-end sound. In addition to the ability to effortlessly change the playback speed at the push of a button, this is electronically controlled with the highest precision, resulting in the most accurate and stable speeds. The previous platter from Pro-Ject was already heavier than all others, but a metal platter also has a downside: resonances. The TPE technology (thermoplastic elastomer) helps to completely dampen these resonances and also increases the weight to 1.7 kilograms. Since the TPE is mounted on an outer ring, the kinetic energy also creates a flywheel effect. The result is an even quieter operation with less wow and flutter. The speed controller has been placed on the underside of the turntable to maintain the clean look for which the Debut is so well known. You will not find a switch, LED, or printing on the top of the turntable to ensure the luxurious aesthetic.
