Thank you for your detailed description. It's absolutely understandable that this annoys you, especially with two identically constructed systems. Since you have reinstalled Windows several times, tested the RAM, updated the UEFI and checked the compatibility, there is a lot to be said for a possible hardware problem, perhaps on the mainboard, the APU or the SSD. It is best to register a warranty check for the complete system including CPU, RAM and SSD via your customer account. You can mention in the comment that the other PC is running stably with an identical configuration and ask for a full technical inspection.

I was able to carry out a search and unfortunately we do not have the USB4 variant in our range and it is currently not possible to procure it as none of our suppliers have a corresponding purchase offer. If and when we will be able to offer it is unfortunately not known at the moment. Alternatively, there are the following models with a Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 port, but not with AMD but already built-in Intel CPUs: ASUS RNUC14RVHI300002I, Intel Core 3 100U ASUS NUC 14 Pro RNUC14RVKI300002I, Intel Core i3 ASUS NUC 14 Pro Slim Kit RNUC14RVKU500002I; Intel Core Ultra 5 125H

I used a Philips #1, but had to search the workshop for one that would fit well, and found one in a "cheap" Bosch bit-box. My trusty PB roll also had the right screwdriver. They are very tight or Asrock used Loctite, but that would beat the purpose of the barebones that MUST be opened by the end-user.

This probably depends on the CPU cooler used. The construction proposal described here ct.de/ycs3 expresses scepticism about SSDs with heat sinks. This could cause space problems. They therefore limit themselves to a 1 TB SSD without a heat sink...

I can't say anything about Gen5 NvMe SSDs. Possibly consult the compatibility list at AsRock and look for something comparable. The supplied fan is certainly effective enough and usually surprisingly quiet. Nevertheless, I have installed the Alpenföhn Silvretta. This is larger and howls less under load.
