This is almost a completely different product than item 14636785. This mainboard has the form factor mATX, while the mainboard with item number 14636785 is ATX. ATX is intended for normal PC cases such as a midi tower. mATX are made for smaller PC cases.
Good question, I have a 1060 in use and it works without any problems. So I assume that there should be no problems with a 1070, which is from the same series.
It is not directly the successor. The II has the ATX form factor and the normal one has the mATX form factor.

The CPU does not have a graphics chip in it. Only the G-series have a graphics chip inside.

No, it will probably not, because that CPU is not listed as being supported by Asus for this Mainboard.

No, I had to do the update myself. But it is not a problem
So if that helps you as an answer, I'm running it with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 5th Gen and the bios update worked effortlessly.
all graphic cards would fit, the connection is the same everywhere...the question if the card fits is only for your pc case...

Hello, first check that the storage (M.2-SSDs with PCIe-4.0) and memory (DDR4-3200) are proper and fit the mainboard. CPU with max. 18% performance increase (according to benchmarks) is secondary for now. If you then place more value on FPS when gaming anyway, a good GPU is more important than the CPU.
In my case, Asus only wanted the invoice and the serial number. A promo code was not required. Digitec is/was on Asus' list.
Unfortunately, this is not possible with this mainboard, but here are two alternatives:

Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi (ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WI-FI (AM4, AMD B550, ATX))
Unfortunately, I can't give you a recommendation because my knowledge doesn't go that deep.

Indeed, this is the image of the mATX. But the product above is the ATX card.
