I played eOS on it myself. ZKB and Crontosign (some cantonal banks) work, as do almost all the other apps I use. Skype Audio doesn't work, it sounds like Mickey Mouse. Presumably the same applies to MS Teams, as it is based on Skype. Buying apps only works with a Google account, so I've given up all the apps I bought.

Fairphone provides 5 years warranty, you have to register your phone on Fairphone's website to get it. I own this phone and am very happy with it!

I strongly advise to contact Digitec support directly before you buy it and insist that they change the warranty in the shop. This is not unusual, I have seen so many products where vendors give more warranty that is recorded in the digitec shop. And if you buy and think ah vendor gives 5 and you get 2 years from the digitec shop on your order, that is it, you will not get any warranty beyond 2 years from digitec. They will then tell you, yes you can go directly to the vendor for the extra warranty, I would not do this deal if they do not clearly change what is shown in the shop. Please contact them directly telling them to fix this or you would buy elsewhere, that might help to get their attention :(.

The question should be asked to a seller, not a user! FairPhone expressly says that e/OS/ and lineageOS can be easily installed on a FairPhone 3 or 4. I found on the web that these same FairPhone can be delivered with e/OS/ already installed under the name Murena Fairphone 3/4 for a price very close to the original product (I did not find any vendor who have both at the same time). Personally I haven't done the experiment, but my son has a phone with e/OS/ that he installed himself without any problem and says he has been very happy with it for over a year. Digitec should (MUST!) offer both, or even all three, OSes.

I can confirm the information on the manufacturer's website: 1 physical sim slot, 1 esim, 1 memory card slot. by the way, in order to activate my esim as a second sim, i first had to remove my main sim (physical), physically insert the old second sim, activate esim for it, and then physically insert the main sim again. so it may be worth considering how you want the whole thing to work first.

How does the 5G option work at digitec connect? If you already have a digitec connect subscription, you can simply activate the 5G option in the usage area of your cockpit and you will then surf on the Sunrise 5G network immediately. If you no longer want the option, you can switch it off in your cockpit and from the following month you will no longer be charged for the option and will surf in the 4G network again. You can use the 5G option as a private customer and also as a digitec connect corporate customer. When you activate the 5G option, it always runs until the end of the month. After that, you decide yourself whether you want to automatically extend it by one month or not. With the launch today, you can test 5G for the next two days for only 53 centimes until the end of April and decide for yourself whether you want to automatically extend in May or not. Are you already using our MultiSIM offer and have several devices connected to your digitec connect subscription? In this case, you can surf on the 5G network with all your devices if you have activated the 5G option for your mobile phone subscription. You can find more information about our 5G option in the Helpcenter article.

As can be seen in the price trend, the promotion was only valid for one day. But I was also very disappointed because I missed it. In the end, it's marketing, but I don't think it's fair...

Helpful answer
Fortunately, no. Because if it did, it would hardly correspond with the basic idea of Fairphone, which is to produce smartphones that are as sustainable as possible. If you need one, I'll be happy to send you one or you can pick one up from me in Obwalden.
