Hi Michael As far as I have noticed, the /e/ operating system is not yet available for the Fairphone 4. See link: https://doc.e.foundation/devices You would have to install it yourself, but I hope that this does not invalidate the warranty.

This probably has to do with the latest update. In this update, the automatic brightness was reduced because many users complained that the display is too bright in the dark. Try switching off the automatic brightness and see if it is better.

I played eOS on it myself. ZKB and Crontosign (some cantonal banks) work, as do almost all the other apps I use. Skype Audio doesn't work, it sounds like Mickey Mouse. Presumably the same applies to MS Teams, as it is based on Skype. Buying apps only works with a Google account, so I've given up all the apps I bought.

Hello Jupfister Unfortunately, I haven't found one yet. According to some forums, this company (https://twitter.com/lifeproof/status/1551656242644393986?s=21&t=vKC2Znjx_WSas_RM2yl3kA) makes special covers. You'll have to be patient. Such ideas have already been incorporated into the development of the Fairphone 5. Otherwise just generic waterproof beach bags.

No, it's not included and has to be bought separately, it's always been a bit more expensive to buy something that's sustainable, but I think Fairphone could have included at least one charging cable in the package. Only this is included: Fairphone 4 Quick-Start Guide Environmentally friendly packaging This Xiaomi Fast Charger comes with a USB-C cable: Xiaomi Mi Fast Charger with GaN Tech (65 W, Fast Charge) Given the extremely high price of the Fairphone, I wonder if it wouldn't be much cheaper to buy a Xiaomi or Poco phone, for example, as these phones always come with chargers and charging cables. That is no longer fair, but it is fair for the consumer, because you save a lot of money. The Fairphone 4 is certainly a good thing, but spending so much money on a Qualcom Snapdragon 750G and a small 3900 mAh battery should be well considered. A Xiaomi 12 with 5G, 256 GB of storage, a Snapdragon Gen 1 processor that is more than twice as fast and a 67-watt charger would be available for as little as CHF 499. The phone could also be wirelessly charged and the cameras should be a lot better (the Fairphone 4 only got a meagre 69 in the DXOMARK camera test, which is a smartphone class of around 200+ francs), while the Xiaomi 12 got almost double that with 112.) Maybe that would be an alternative? Xiaomi 12 5G (256 GB, Blue, 6.28", Dual SIM, 50 Mpx, 5G)
