I have to confirm this in part, although I haven't had the phone for very long. It's possible that it will get better. Mine doesn't last a day, I usually have to charge it at 4pm.
Yes, as soon as the bootloader is overwritten, you lose the warranty.
Technically the Sony Xperia Z5, but if you always want the latest Android, pure Android without ads etc. then the Nexus 5x is better. However, the Nexus 6P is available for about 120 CHF more, which would also include the technical aspect, so you could benefit on both sides.
This offer is only valid in certain countries in Europe, and only in the Google Store. Compared to the other European countries, the new Nexus/Nexii are relatively cheap in Switzerland, which is probably why Google decided against the Chromecast deal in Switzerland.
As soon as you change anything on the unit, the warranty expires.
http://www.handydoktor.ch/Reparaturen/LG/LG-Nexus-5X-Reparaturen.php is very expensive. I don't know if it would be cheaper at digitec.
Hi, Android changes with every update to the way Google develops it. I now have Android 8.1 on my 5X and with each update 6 to 7 and 7 to 8, the appearance was adapted to Android. So the design and the shape of the icons. I'm not 100% sure whether the launcher was also adapted in each case, but it should have been, because as I said, the design changed in each of the major updates.
You cannot use an SDcard on this phone. You need to buy another one.
Yes and no: The update to 7.0 went smoothly for me via the corresponding update function. However, it should be more difficult to update to 7.0 immediately, as 7.1.1 is already being updated - I hope this is not a problem ;-)
Yes, there is. In addition, there is real image recognition, e.g. you can search for "dog" and all photos with a dog in them are displayed.
And then? Never heard of a promotional sale?
The following is included in the scope of delivery: Nexus 5X smartphone USB Type-C to Type-C connection cable USB Type-C charger, 15 W, 5 V/3 A SIM eject key Quick guide Warranty and security card https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/6102320?hl=de
Yes, I have never ordered a mobile phone here that comes without a charging cable....
Have you searched for USB-C? There are some corresponding cables, see: XQISIT USB-C Cable (A - C, 0.70m, Black)
Bought in Switzerland covered by Swiss warranty
There are a good 9 GB still free, so you'd better go for the 32 GB version and you won't have any space problems; 16 GB versions are pointless in my opinion. Otherwise, I can only warmly recommend the phone.
You can actually use all headphones, but I wouldn't give up my Blackbeat Pros Plantronics BackBeat PRO (Over-Ear, Black) and they work great with the 5X but also with the 6P.
The following variant of the Nexus 5X is on display in our showrooms: LG Nexus 5X (5.20", 16GB, 12.30MP, Anthracite) The corresponding shops are listed under "Showroom".
Unfortunately, we will not be offering the requested colour variant of the Nexus 5X for the time being. Should this change in the future, the device will be available in our online shop.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer the Ice Blue version of the Nexus 5X in our range for the time being.
I think you mean an adapter cable from type A to tip C. Yes, for example article 5621726.
Yes, my device got version 7.0 about a month ago. In the meantime, there has already been a security update, which was also the case with the previous version once a month. The battery performance has improved significantly with Android 7 when not used intensively - when the CPU is fully loaded and the display is active, little can be done about the consumption by SW.
The Nexus - like most of its predecessors - has no SD card slot. Google does this specifically to promote its own online storage. The XPeria would be perfect with wireless charging - but they've skipped that (again) - which is actually a very useful feature for a waterproof phone. The Lumia is certainly a very good device - except that it has Windows as its OS - which is very good, but simply not widespread enough and thus the app selection is rather limited.
