To connect the Roborock to the app, you have to connect the hoover to the wifi. I have never tried using the vacuum cleaner without the app. According to Roborock it is possible but of course only with the rudimentary settings. Unfortunately, I can't answer the second question.

The Roborock Saros 10R is expected to be available from the end of August.
This version is without water connection. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a purchase offer for the one with water connection, which is why we cannot offer it.
As far as I can tell, the vacuum cleaner can ONLY connect to a 2.4Ghz network. 5Ghz is not recognised at all. The vacuum cleaner can therefore not be used. Nowadays, however, the vast majority of routers can transmit 5 and 2.4 ghz networks simultaneously. The routers from Swisscom, Sunrise, Wingo and co. can do this without any problems. this may simply have to be switched on on the Management side of the router. Hope that helps :)

1. programming for parquet and tiled floors: You can programme the Robot Vacuum Cleaner to vacuum parquet first and then tiled floors by adjusting the cleaning schedules in the app. You can define specific rooms or zones and specify the cleaning sequence.
2. mop behaviour when moving from flagstones to parquet: When the Robot Vacuum Cleaner moves from flagstones to parquet, it can automatically adjust the mop system. In the app, you can set the chassis to be raised before parquet cleaning to protect the mop system.

We put the Saros 10 under our sofa. The sofa is approx. 8 cm high at the edge, but more like 7 cm in the centre, where it can push the fabric upwards. We have a Saros 10.

The depth of the upper part of the station is 26 cm. The width is 40.9 cm as stated.
There needs to be approx. 70 cm of space at the top (from the floor to the top edge of the lid), as the lid has to be opened to remove the tanks.
