Hello Chillikopf17
That's not quite right ...
Here https://www.thermaltake.com/pub/media/productattach/db/support/usermanual/5V_RGB_Motherboard_Support_List.pdf you will find the support list, which also includes many ASROCK.
Question 1: Yes Asus Aura works I have asus myself and the controller
Question 2: Should work, with AMD chipset there are problems with the USB ports, that not every port recognises the controller.
Question 3: All 3 ports on one side are controlled with the same PWM.
Cheers
There are 3 separate outputs to which 3 fans each can be connected. The 3 fans per group are always controlled in the same way. However, if you only have 3 fans, you can connect them to 3 different outputs and thus assign different colours.
The colour control is done with the mainboard software. I have a Gigabyte board and therefore have to use "RGB-Fusion". Unfortunately, this software is lousy.
It's exactly the same with me.
Unfortunately, this is because the controller only takes over the setting from the software.
and as long as your PC is booting, it is not fed with information by the software.
Actually, it is indecent to answer a question with a question...
But...
I don't really understand your question -
Do you mean if you can also control the controller with the Riing Plus RGB software?
Hello Luki
Yes, with this Sync Controller you can connect all your TT Fans/Pumps/LEDS together in one place and connect to a RGB header on your mainboard :)
Then you don't need any extra software for the lighting, but can control everything directly in ASUS Aura Sync or similar.
Greetings
This cable is for the signal connection to the motherboard. There you must connect it to a DRGB port. That is, to a digital 5 volt RGB port. Depending on which motherboard you have, you may have to use cable D instead of cable C.
Samsacha, with the controller you have everything you need. In addition to the connector (power) to Sata, it also has a cable connection. Since you have an Asus mainboard, I think you have to use the cable with "C2. You have to connect this cable from the controller to the Aura LED strips slot on the mainboard. Then connect all the fans and also connect the PWM cables from the controller to 1-3 PWM fan connections on the mainboard. The fan speed is then set via BIOS. The RGB via Aura
Good day Kuschi
I have a Gigabyte board B550 Aorus Elite and the Thermaltake controller as a combination. The connection cable from Thermaltake to the board was a three PIN connector. There are 2, 5 volt addressable connectors on the board. However, the PIN socket is equipped with four PINs. However, only three of these PINs are actually connected to the board. I crimped myself a connector that had four pins and crimped the three cables from Thermaltake to the correct PINS.
Unfortunately I can't upload photos to show it clearly. (https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b550-aorus-elite-ax-v2_e.pdf?v=24d24cf9acc76ba2c833adbcf9dfc9c7) In the link is the manual of the B550 board, there you can see exactly what I mean. Can you tell me which Z690 board you have exactly? Then maybe I can help you further.
Hello all,
I would like to connect 10 TT Riing 12 fans to my Asus mainboard. Apparently I need 2 TT Sync controllers for this. I would connect them via a 5V RGB splitter cable, as it seems you can't put the controllers directly into a loop.
Question 1: Will Asus Aura work with all fans this way?
Question 2: Does the Termaltake software recognise 2 Sync controllers and if so would it work like this?
Question 3: The TT Sync Controller has one pmw port per side. Are all 3 ports (per side) controlled in this way?
Thank you very much,
No, the TT-Sync controller is not designed as a fan hub, but to synchronise the RGB Plus, Trio and Quad products with the motherboard's RGB software.
The Sync Controller is not designed to work with the TT RGB Plus software, as it does not have the USB connection to the motherboard.
You have no alternative but to use the original controller, which is supplied with the fans. Please note the restrictions and the compatibility list of the controller, which can be found on the manufacturer's website: https://de.thermaltake.com/tt-sync-controller-tt-premium-edition.html
Hello Patrikstrollface
Yes it is, see description:
Thermaltake's TT Premium Edition TT Sync Controller is a 9-port LED controller designed to sync Thermaltake LED products with ASUS, GIGABYTE and MSI motherboards. Once you have connected the products to the controller and downloaded ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion or MSI Mystic Light Sync to your PC, you can control the lighting directly from the software without installing the Riing Plus RGB software and additional lighting controllers.
