There is only one analogue stereo output, but no digital outputs.
The PartyBox can be used as an external speaker for your Bluetooth enabled smartphone or tablet. Pairing requires a passcode which cannot be selected on the Yamaha device.
In principle, the NT670D CD is compatible with all amplifiers. The perfectly matching A-670 or AU-670 amplifiers are included in the Pianocraft MCRN870D or MCRN670D set. As far as functionality is concerned, changing the volume via remote control or app is only possible with the system cable connected to the CDNT670D and the AU670 / A670.
Unfortunately not. The Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on the Yamaha can only be used as an input (as it receives the music source) but unfortunately not as a speaker connection. The speakers or an amplifier must be connected via cable (analogue OUT, cinch connection). MP3 files are mapped according to folder names and file names from the FlashDrive. Sorting is not possible. Just scroll through the hierarchy in the classic way. The YAMAHA MusicCast app is best suited for this. If it is absolutely necessary to filter by albums, genres, etc., I recommend connecting to a NAS and managing the files with Twonky, for example. Great device. I am very satisfied.
To be more precise: I have an older Yamaha AV receiver without Musiccast. Can I connect the CD-NT670D(AB) to the system and watch movies via the BluRay player connected to the AV receiver and use the wireless speakers with Musiccast? Or do I need a WXAD-10 for this? I.e. can the Musiccast speakers be used when the BluRay player is selected as the source? Thank you very much.
Yes, that should work according to our information. The CD-NT670D should also have piano black on the side.
The player can be connected to most amplifiers via a stereo RCA cable: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/audio-kabel-296?pdo=1241-9602:8084|1241-9528:7994|1241-7524:3941|1241-14507:305923&tagIds=77-533-532 Our supplier currently has two units in stock.
So the unit doesn't have an amplifier, if you have active speakers where you can control the volume, yes.
