OsiSense XX - new, easy-to-handle basic version. M18 ultrasonic sensor, metal. Dimensions M18 x 71 mm, connection M12 plug, output NO, function PNP, switching distance 0.05 m, protection class IP 67. Robust metal design, fixed switching distance of 50 mm. The ultrasonic detection is based on a time measurement between the transmission moment of a sound wave (pressure wave) and the reception moment of its echo (reflected sound wave). Ultrasonic sensors thus enable contactless detection of any objects, regardless of material (metal, plastic, wood, cardboard), color, state of matter (solid, liquid, powder), and transparency. The absence of moving parts ensures a long lifespan of the devices.
